    Civil Engineer/Designer (Charlotte, NC and Columbia, SC) 
    CES Group Engineers, LLP is seeking a Civil Engineer/Designer, with four (4) years or more of applicable experience, to join our growing Columbia, SC Site Civil Planning and Design Team.

    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering is required
    • E.I.T. Certification or Professional Engineering Licenses is preferred
    • Familiarity with civil engineering principles, including site design, grading, drainage, and utility systems
    • AutoCAD and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D experience is required
    • High level of self-motivation and initiative
    • Good interpersonal skills, and well-developed oral and written communication skills
    • Organized and solution driven
    • Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing accurate and high-quality work
    • Ability to effectively interface with other project team members

    Environmental Engineer (Charlotte, NC)
    CES Group Engineers, LLP is seeking an experienced and well-connected, North Carolina Professional Geologist and/or Professional Engineer with 10 or more years of relevant environmental consulting experience to take on an active role as the licensed Geologist and/or Engineer of Record on public and private projects located throughout North Carolina and manage environmental related projects in South Carolina.

    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Geology, Environmental Science, or related science
    • Ten or more years of experience in Environmental Engineering, Geology, or related field
    • North Carolina Professional Geologist and/or Professional Engineer license is required
    • Ability to independently perform outdoor field work in variable weather conditions (cold, heat, etc.)
    • Ability to carry up to 50-lbs of field equipment in varying terrains
    • Ability to clearly communicate technical information both orally and in writing
    • Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
    • OSHA 40-HR HAZWOPER training certificate is required
    • Project Management experience is required
    • Client and Business Development experience is required
    • AutoCAD and/or GIS experience is preferred, but not required
    • Asbestos, lead, and/or indoor air quality experience a plus, but not required

    CES Group Engineers, LLP is seeking an Environmental Field Technician/Jr. Scientist with one to three, or more years of relevant field and office experience to join our growing environmental team in Charlotte, NC. Part-time candidates will be given strong consideration.

    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Geology, Environmental Science, or related science
    • One to three or more years of experience in Environmental Engineering, Geology, or related field

    Utility Installation/Repair Inspector (Columbia, SC)

    A Utility Installation/Repair Inspector Inspector oversees the installation/repair of underground utilities (typically sewer line repair) to guarantee that they are completed safely, on time, and within budget. They inspect materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with project plans and specifications. Inspectors maintain detailed records of the construction process, report findings to project managers, and collaborate with engineers and contractors to resolve issues promptly.

    Qualifications:
    • Relevant certifications in construction inspection (NCDOT/SCDOT/ACI/OSHA) not required but a plus
    • Familiar with broken sewer line repair, pipe bursting and cured in place pipe lining a plus 
    • Five years previous experience in utility construction, inspection services or related roles
    • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
    • Excellent attention to detail and observational skills
    • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Ability to work independently and make decisions based on inspection findings
    • Familiarity with construction software and tools used for documentation and reporting

    Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) Analyst (Charlotte, NC)
    CES Group Engineers, LLP is seeking a Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) Analyst, with three (3) to five (5) years of applicable utility services experience, to join our growing Charlotte, NC team.

    Qualifications:
    • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.  Associate’s Degree is preferred. 
    • Three (3) to five (5) years or more of subsurface utility engineering experience is required, including demonstrated knowledge and proficiency with current SUE and Geomatics equipment 
    • A detail-oriented team player, who enjoys methodical problem solving, combining accuracy and precision with positive behavior traits, such as being trustworthy, well-organized, adaptable and analytical
    • Good oral and written communication skills 
    • A valid driver’s license and good driving record are required
    • A background check and drug test will be required as a condition of employment

    Survey Crew Chief (Charlotte, NC)
    CES Group Engineers, LLP is seeking Survey Crew Chiefs, with five (5) years or more of applicable land surveying experience, to join our growing team.

    Qualifications:
    •  A high school diploma or equivalent
    • Five (5) years or more of applicable land surveying experience, including experience as a crew chief
    • Proficiency with current robotic instruments, data collectors, GPS, laptop/tablet computers and data collection software. Experience with Trimble equipment is preferred.
    • Must be self‐motivated, and able to complete assigned tasks with limited guidance
    • Good oral and written communication skills
    • A valid driver’s license and good driving record are required.
    • A background check and drug test will be required as a condition of employment.

    Survey Project Manager (Charlotte, NC)
    CES Group Engineers, LLP is seeking a Survey Project Manager with five (5) or more years of relevant experience to join our growing team in Charlotte, NC.  

    Qualifications:
    • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in surveying or Civil Engineering Technology, or a related field is preferred, but not required 
    • Licensed Professional Land Surveying License (PLS) in North Carolina or South Carolina is a plus, but not required 
    • Five (5) years or more of land surveying experience is required, including demonstrated proficiency with field surveying techniques and survey office practices 
    • Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Carlson Survey software is required. Experience with Trimble Business Center and MicroStation is a plus 
    • Good interpersonal skills and well-developed oral and written communication skills
    • Ability to effectively interface with the Geomatics Division Manager, other project team members, clients and office staff

    Land Survey Operations Manager (Charlotte, NC)
    A Land Survey Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the operations of the land surveying department in a particular region. Our service area includes both North and South Carolina. Their primary role is to ensure that land survey projects are carried out efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with relevant regulations. Additionally, recruiting, and retaining talented staff. This position will also be responsible for managing project managers, field crews, and CAD technicians.

    Qualifications:
    •  Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license(s) is required
    • Proven experience in land surveying, with a focus on project management, 10+ years preferred 
    • Strong knowledge of surveying principles, techniques, and equipment
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills
    • Proficient in the use of surveying software and technology
    • Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
